NOTHING IN THE WORLD LIKE FAMILY I had The best time with my family last night in Baldwin Hills, as we danced to Pharrells hit song HAPPY, and other songs that followed. Gumbo, potato salad, fried chicken, steamed grilled shrimp & veggies and all you can drink were on the menu. God its Been so long since we all came together from 3 different states and got it done like family should. Yesterday we celebrated unity and love we have for one another. Cali Reunion on the way! We Celebrated my daughter Zaleiyah Desvigne, acceptance into Hampton University this August and will be turning 18 March 21st. We also celebrated for my oldest son Kyrell Howell who will be graduating from Norfolk University this May. Talk about being one of the happiest fathers in the world. Now I have 3 down and 1 to go. Next year will be my baby boy Devin Dejhaun Desvigne the 2nd. going off to college. I am so proud of them both for never giving in when we were down and never keeping a closed ear when poppa preached and stayed firm and stern where I need to be. I love my kids, myself, my family that resides across most of the U.S....lol.. I love my friends. I love life its self even through the BS Ive endured, that has built me up for this moment in time to acknowledge my own greatness as a man and most of all, one of the greatest fathers that ever lived. I not only proved to my family and the world, but to myself that single fathers can do it if the faith, will and courage are there. I never stopped praying and never will. Thank God is good. I want to give thanks to both my parents and my immediate family that never gave up on me and had much to do in helping raise these beautiful kids of mine. It truly takes a neighborhood to raise a child. In my case, my neighbors have always been my entire family. For the ones that turned up your noses and looked down on me as if you were ever better than the next child of God, well you know who you are so I wont mention any names. Lets just say you helped by empowering my strength into a positive energy to succeed instead of drawing back my focus on what was more important and turning it into negative anger and hate, God knows I almost went that way. I want to give a Big shout out to my Kids, Kyrell Howell Flo Floecity Jones, Zaleiyah, Desvigne, Devin Dejhaun Desvigne the 2nd. Avery Reilly Exavious Nunez for believing in me and allowing me to be the father you needed and need in your lives. Only if you kids knew, you all have been my strength and ROCK next to God. Big shout out to Little my brothers Robin Kilgore & Mario A Des Vigne, my Brother Kyle Weathersby, my big brother Lamar Alexander Sr., my brother Kieron Pinn , My brother Berchman Pinn and last but never the lessor or least my brother Joe Morales. You gentlemen are real fathers who are holding it down, who know of my story all to well and have always been and still in my corner as a friend, adviser, and supporter as a brother should be. Love you dudes BIG time. My cousin Bryce Dupré Ashley Samóne Ector. Jason Windourne and Don Ron, thank you for for keeping it 100%, my kids and I, thinks the world of you. My beautiful Niece Tahtiana Smith for being more than a cousin to a child who needed more than just a father. Donquellatish Dqt Alexander and Lori Topaz Weathersby for never closing your doors. Mom Damani T Smith and Dad Marvin A. Desvigne, you will always be the best a child could ask for in my eyes. because of your love, guidance, wisdom, respect and all your unlimited support, I am and love who I am. But as Steve Harvey said Best, God aint finish with me yet. Big Thank you to all my friends who lent their time to listen and just being supportive or allowing me to do the same for you which also gave me strength in being a better human being and there are a lot of you...lol..
