NOTICE FROM THE SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE The Social Action Committee will be collecting non-perishable items for the Family Inn located on Leonard Street in Greenfield during the High Holidays. As members of the Franklin County community and even more so as members of the Jewish Community, we have an obligation to help those in need. While this obligation is with us throughout the year, it is especially incumbent upon us to care for those less fortunate than ourselves as the High Holidays approach. We must not forget the words of Isaiah speaking of what is required of us, this is the fast I desire ... to share your bread with the hungry ... offer your compassion to the hungry and satisfy the famished creature. Whenever you come to the Temple, please remember to bring non-perishable items and place them in the beautiful wooden box to the right of the entrance door. They especially need diapers and baby wipes, but all contributions will be gratefully accepted such as cereal, tuna fish, pasta, peanut butter, etc. Please no glass jars. Thank you all and God bless.
