NOTICE OF RESIGNATION Effective immediately I commit to you publicly my resignation as a member and potential future candidate of the Palmer United Party. After the dust had settled from the events of the 2013 Federal election and the months that have passed, it has become apparent to me that the PUP led by Clive Palmer does not align with my political views nor does it represent a party standing for Australians and delivering on what was initially promised. The PUP, in my opinion, has become nothing more than a marketing stunt and vengeful mission of yours truly, Clive Palmer, to seek his own personal ambitions whilst disrespecting our democracy and political system in the process. I would also like to vent that the poor treatment of his foot soldiers on his federal election campaign and lack of support from himself and head office has disheartened myself and Im sure many more. I hope one day Clive and Co will realise what a big opportunity they have missed in uniting Australians and breaking this duopoly. Fear not though! I will continue my political ambitions and stand as an independent for the seat of Liverpool in the upcoming state elections. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported me in my endeavours thus far and to those who will continue to do so. There will be much more news ahead Im sure, but this is all for now!
