NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD FALLS THE REDWOOD FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL BE ENFORCING THE FOLLOWING CITY ORDINANCE: 2015 Dog Licenses are now available at City Hall at 333 South Washington Street, Redwood Falls, Minnesota. It is a petty misdemeanor for any person to own, harbor or keep any dog over the age of three (3) months without obtaining a license. All licensed dogs must wear a collar and have a tag firmly affixed thereto showing its registered number for the current year. Any dog found in the City of Redwood Falls without a tag, or running at large, shall be placed in the Animal Pound. Application for a license should be made at the Municipal Building by 4:30 p.m. on January 15, 2015, or at the time an acquired dog reaches three (3) months of age. If a license is not purchased by 4:30 p.m. on January 15, 2015, a $60 fine will be issued for your unlicensed dog. FEES FOR THE 2015 LICENSES ARE: $25.00 for non-neutered males and non-spayed females; $10.00 for neutered males or spayed females. APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO PRESENT A CERTIFICATE FROM A LICENSED VETERINARIAN SHOWING THE DOG HAS BEEN VACCINATED FOR RABIES. Sincerely, City of Redwood Falls ci.redwood-falls.mn.us
