NOTICE The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) of Thailand has lifted curfew in Pattaya, Koh Samui and Phuket from 3 June, 2014. However, curfew has been maintained in other areas including the capital from midnight hrs till 0400 hrs. Indian tourists and residents in Thailand are advised to take precautions for their safety, including by avoiding movement during the prohibited period and to areas where demonstrations, political gatherings, marches, etc are likely to take place. They are further advised to regularly monitor the situation through the local media, hotels, tour operators, etc. Those who have flights at night are advised to reach the airport well before curfew time and/or ask their hotel to coordinate transport.
