NOTICE: The public is advised that Minister Harold Lovells email was hacked. At 10:15 am today, his personal email account sent out an email with the subject Important files. The email reads, There are some Great documentation regarding an Investment in Antigua and Barbuda. I tried to upload and attached them yesterday but I am not really sure you received it. so I uploaded it through the Google Uploader. you can click on this link to redirect you to view the document. Click here and sign in to be able to access the files. If you received this email, you are instructed to delete it immediately and not click on the link. If you clicked on the link, to ensure your security, you are advised to change your passwords and run a virus and spyware check. This email attack is highly suspicious. It does not conform with generic spam attacks. Most generic spam attacks end up caught in spam filters and reference generic products and services. This attack, was highly personal and specifically referenced investments in Antigua & Barbuda. It also generally ended up in individual inboxes as opposed to spam filters. It seems that the Minister was specifically targeted by whoever committed this crime, noted Information Technology professional Damani Tabor. The Minister will be reporting the incident to the police for investigation. Hacking is a very serious crime. I trust that the police will do their work and bring the perpetrator to justice, said Minister Lovell.
