She was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church, a remarkably strong woman in her beliefs and loved her family. The funeral will be on Friday, August 2nd and will followed by a delicious meal at the church, which would have made Esteline very happy. * * NEWS FROM THE PEWS * * July 28, 2013 Pastor Lois mentioned “our flowers” in the front yard of MBC, they are well-watered and “alive”; Thank you, Rick; Told us the fence railing in the parking lot had been touched up (almost re-painted); Thank you, Ambrose; The Sun Flowers are at their peak on Rt. 45, just outside of Woodstown – take a ride and have a look; Thank you, God; Related that Esteline Bacon had passed away (See Sympathy Note above, please); Sue Eldon reported that there are TWO new, tiny puppies at her home that are absolutely adorable; George Reese found tomatoes on his front porch and thanked Rick Johnson; said that he and Carol had taken a ride to Ocean City for the day and found it packed, so promptly returned home – nice drive, though; Rick Johnson told us that his gardens are not producing as well as they have in the past, but there is ‘some’ produce; Doris Chappius let us know that Bob Kiger had been in Sea Isle City and told her that he was very active in his church, at one time serving 14,000 meals and another time in Texas serving 40,000 meals; Sheila Fretz may become a “Grande” to a dog that adopted HER; had spent time with the Cook family – Katelyn (born deaf) has cochlear implants and is talking well while her brother Michael (born with club feet) is ‘running about’ – healed; isn’t it amazing what God can do for our children through Doctors who complete their medical training? They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
