The Constitution states that 15 members are necessary for the conducting of any business. Please be sure that you are present to state your opinion concerning “Suggestions for the welfare of MBC” and help with the work of the church. Thank you! * * NEWS FROM THE PEWS * * July 21, 2013 Pastor Lois announced that Esteline Bacon has been moved to Southgate Healthcare Center, Room 310, 440 South Pennsville-Auburn Road, Carneys Point, 08069; Sue Dolbow told us the “greenery” at the front of the church were for Frannie’s 75th birthday which was being celebrated today with family – so we sang “Happy Birthday” to him; Doris Chappius reminded us of Marion Patrick’s birthday – and so we sang “Happy Birthday” to her (she’s 94!); and daughter Helen Acton had brought beautiful cut flowers from her own yard to help us celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime occasion; Francis Finlaw made a 2nd request that we remember to unlock and have the front door open by 10 a.m., please! AMERICAN BAPTIST CHURCHES OF NEW JERSEY ANNUAL SESSION The ABCNJ Annual Session will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a one-day session only and all business will be conducted on that day. Please note the flyers located in the Lower Fellowship Hall.
