Mr. Francis Finlaw 664 Harmersville-Canton Road, Salem, NJ 08079 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * God’s Timing is Always Perfect! * * NEWS FROM THE PEWS * * June 1, 2014 Sheila Fretz loved the music today and expressed her blessing by saying, “The music in this church is amazing, and we are blessed by it all”; Sue Dolbow said she and Frannie are blessed with good neighbors – Frannie’s ‘slight’ knee problem resulted in their calling Randall, a 13-year old neighbor, who came right up to their farm and promptly learned how to feed six calves, offering to respond to any call for help when needed; PRAYER REQUESTS Richard Johnson asked that we remember the enormous losses in 1944 during the invasion of Normandy; Ambrose Salinas asked that we pray for the American soldier who was recently released from Afghanistan, after being imprisoned there for five years; Pastor Lois asked for prayers for safe travel to Annapolis for a brief visit with Bill’s sister. * * BIBLE STUDY MOVING QUICKLY * * Our Bible Study moves back to Memorial Baptist this Tuesday and will begin at chapter 15 of II Samuel. Things will continue to “fall apart” in the palace of King David as his son, Absalom, seeks to dethrone his father! What else can go wrong in the household of “this man after God’s own heart?” Our hearts begin to ache for King David and for the turmoil which has taken up residence in Jerusalem. You might enjoy this study group if you have a particular interest in God’s Word. COME and find out! Barbara was deeply moved by your acceptance of her as she worshipped at Memorial Baptist Church with husband, Jack Titus. Barbara’s cheery disposition and happy outlook on life made her a memorable friend. Barbara is greatly missed by the many friends she made in Salem and in Woodstown. Come, and remember with us!
