Though Mary can see only shadows, she has the God-given ability to recognize voices and is very much aware of YOUR spiritual commitment to God. Mary also likes to sing. She has sung ‘Medals for Mother’ as our Special Music for the past several Mother’s Day celebrations so we are pleased that she will sing for us again today. Stop in and take look. Chapters 5 and 6 of Second Samuel are two of the most defining chapters in the Old Testament concerning the establishment of the Dynasty of David – from which Jesus Christ came. The movement of David’s ‘headquarters’ from Hebron to Jerusalem result in a fine palace and the safe arrival of the Ark of The Covenant (the symbol of God for the Jews) to the tent prepared for it bringing God to the Holy City of Jerusalem. David’s Kingdom is now established! What will be ahead for King David, The Man After God’s Own Heart? This week we will begin at Chapter 7. . . . . . . . . Love to have you join us.
