NOTICES FOR THE WEEK NOVEMBER 11th-16th 2013 Our Harvest Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Sunday November 17th. This will be a combined Parish Eucharist, which will be covered for television. The service will be at St.Johns Church at 9:00a.m. and is scheduled to be aired on ZNS television on the following Sunday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m. We urge all to attend this service. Bring your gifts of non-perishable food items as well as our native produce and a good collection. Let us make this event very special to the honour and glory of God, and for the benefit of as many people as possible. We will be ministering to the whole nation. On behalf of St.Pauls Parish family, I am pleased to formally thank Mrs. Nicola Archer and the members of the organizing committee for leading the way in the accomplishments through the bazaar 2013. I commend the vestry and all who supported the venture which netted so far, the amount of $13,345.61. The raffle tickets are still on sale at 99 cents each and the drawing will be on December 14th. Bible Study will be in the Parish as follow: Tuesday November 12th at St.Johns at 7pm. Wednesday November 13th at Holy Family at 7pm. Communion to the Sick and Shut-Ins will be on Tuesday November 12th in the North and Wednesday November 13th in the South. Confirmation Classes will be Wednesday November 13th at St.Johns Church at 3:30pm. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL CANDIDATES ARE PRESENT. All churches are invited to participate in the celebration of National Childrens Week by first joining in the launching of the week for the entire Bahamas on Friday November 15th At the Regatta Site in Salt Pond at 1:00pm. All schools will be involved in this very special event and there is more to come. We beg you to please begin now to support the celebration of our children during this Childrens Week 2013 under the theme, Bless The Children............Save The Nation. Confirmation date for the Parish has been set for March 23rd 2014 at 9:00am at St.Johns Church. All are invited to attend Palestine Baptist Church 12th Annual District Convention November 14th-17th at the church in Deadmans Cay.
