NOVEMBER 16-SATURDAY WISDOM 18:14-16 19:6-9 Death of Egyptian first born-The Israelites s Spared PSALM 105: 2-3,36,37 42,43 Gods Fidelity-God Keeps his Promise LUKE 18: 1-8 Parable of the Persistent widow -Gospel for Today JESUS told them a parable to show them that they should pray continually.In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared GOD nor people.There was a widow who kept coming to him saying: Defend my right against my opponent;For a time he refused but finally he thought: Even though I neither fear GOD nor care about the people ,this widow bothers me so much I will see that she gets justice: then she will stop coming and wearing me out JESUS explained,Listen to what the evil judge says.Will GOD not do justice for his chosen ones who cry to him day and night even if he delays in answering them? I tell you,he will speedily do them justice,yet when the Son of man comes,will he finds faith on earth? PRAISE TO YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST LORD,help and guide me to encourage people I will meet along my way,in lifting your name and your words telling them your goodness,to persevere and keep faith in you. The church says surely it is true that our world for today is bent on destroying CHRISTIAN FAITH. IF my practice of the FAITH is a whimsical thing riding on the waves only of my feelings,it will never become part of my life,so help me my GOD to stand firm believing and obeying your commands. Increase more my FAITH and your gift of PERSEVERANCE. IN JESUS NAME.AMEN.
