NOVEMBER 6, 2013 WEDNESDAY. Its 930pm. Just got back from DON BOSCO HALL, St John Bosco Parish for the SALT AND LIGHT FOR CHRIST MASS with Bshp Ted Bacani. Its the regular monthly Eucharistic Celebration of the SLCC. AMICI MASS 0900-0930 I celebrated the monthly 1st Wednesday mass for the staff of the AMICI RESTAURANT downstairs. It is a chance for me to catechize the ordinary people since I seldom have the chance to mix and mingle with them. WORD AND LIFE MEETING 0930-1000 I had a preparatory meeting with Jun Cruzat and Gina Daleon for the LUCENA NEW EVANGELIZATION SEMINAR on December 13-14 for the Religion Teachers and Educators in the SOUTHERN TAGALOG REGION. It is suppose to be held in the SACRED HEART COLLEGE run by the Daughters of Charity. DBP MASS 1130-0200 I celebrated the regular 1st Wednesday Mass for DBP. It was pretty well attended and actively participated. I had lunch in the Executive Lounge of DBP with Regina Dimayuga and Gemma Suaybaguio who played host to me for the day. We barely started when the President of DBP, Gil Buenaventura arrived and sat down with two other DBP officers: Kit Agena and Susan Prado at the next table. Upon seeing me, he honored me by insisting I join them at their table - and so, I did. We had quite a pleasant exchange. In the end, he foot the bill and I told him: Had he told me earlier he was going to treat us for lunch, I would have ordered the MOST EXPENSIVE! Ha ha ha… HERITAGE PARK 0400-0630 I was picked up by an alumnus: Ruel Restriver ( unique and rare surname indeed) for the 1st Death anniversary of his niece, Patricia Restriver (daughter of his older brother, also an alumnus - Rizalino) who died last year due to a diabetes attack at age 18. So young. So promising. Immediate members of the family and DBTI classmates of Rizalino were in attendance. I begged off joining them for the reception in PASAY because I had another mass in DASMARINAS VILLAGE. DASMARINAS VILLAGE 0630-0700 Traffic along THE FORT was so bad. We were inching our way to DASMARINAS VILLAGE for my mass with the Limjaps. It took us over 30-45 minutes for the short stretch, but I made it on time. I didnt join the merienda because I had to catch up with the SLCC Mass in Don Bosco Parish Hall.
