NOW HIRING The DSWD Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan - Comprehensive Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) - National Community Driven-Development Program (NCDDP) a poverty reduction program of the Philippine Government designed as a platform for disaster recovery and rehabilitation is in need of the following project staff: AREA COORDINATORS (117) - Preferred Qualifications: BS in Social Work, Community Development, Public Administration, or any of the Social Sciences (Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Management etc.) - at least 80 hours relevant training in community organizing, and community development approaches, strategies/methodology. - at least five (5) years of combined, progressive experience in project management and community organizing, two (2) years of which should be in a supervisory capacity. DEPUTY AREA COORDINATORS (184) - Preferred Qualifications: BS Civil Engineering and other engineering related courses, preferably a licensed Civil Engineer; Women applications are encouraged. - Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. MUNICIPAL FINANCIAL ANALYSTS (184) - Preferred Qualifications: BS in Accountancy, Commerce, Finance or other business related courses, at least four (4) hours of relevant training, and one (1) year relevant work experience. - Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. COMMUNITY FACILITATORS (1,187) - Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of any four (4) year course relevant to social development, community development, and or social work. - at least forty (40) hours of relevant training in community organizing, community mobilization strategies and approaches. - Two (2) years of relevant, progressive work experience in community organizing and or development assistance projects. - Other qualifications: Candidates must be fluent in local language of the area to which he/she will be assigned.
