NOW, none of you people in #Uganda can say there are no jobs. Last week, the police was hiring 25,000 and now they are hiring another 3,500. Come on people. Even I wanna throw a tear gas cannister one day and fire a gun. WAIT WAIT, the tear gas thing, what does it look like? I have only seen guns in movies -- The Expendables and A Team. I really need to do some more research hands on). Good luck people. Uganda is hiring so try your luck. Note to self, learn about tear gas and guns (well bomb making is all over the internet anyway). No baby guns for kids and especially when they do not need guns to put food on the table. I have no idea what those brats are even doing to put food on the table. HARD BRAIN WORK ------------------- Gulu- Police spokesperson for Aswa Region Jimmy Patrick Okema has said the countrywide police recruitment which will start on January 27 is aimed at strengthening the Force and boosting border surveillance. He said the recruitment is also part of the preparations for the 2016 general elections. Mr Okema said police will recruit more than 3,500 personnel across the country. Three thousand will be recruited as Probation Police Constables while 500 will be cadets. “We believe once the personnel are passed out after their trainings, we shall strengthen the number of police personnel in the region especially in the areas bordering South Sudan. We are not saying security at these border points is loose, but the current number of our personnel cannot effectively man the entire border line,” Mr Okema told journalists in Gulu Town on Monday. He said the personnel currently manning the border points are too few for effective monitoring of the porous crossing points. monitor.co.ug/News/National/Police-to-recruit-3-500/-/688334/2574532/-/rabf4d/-/index.html
