‘NOWHATTA RALLY RECALLED 2008-10 AGITATION’ Of course it was today an action reply of 2008-10 protests, when a rally at Nowhatta Srinagar shouted slogans like ‘Umar Geelani Bai Bai’ (Mirwaiz Umar and Syed Ali Geelani are brothers) that too after a long time, once upon a darling Pakistan’s national flag was also hosted by some youth with the cover on their faces. Pertinently it was on 2008-10 gory agitation when their used such type of slogans even a group was formed titled as “Coordination Committee” used to schude the strike and ‘Chalo’calls. How can one forget that moment when almost all the separatist leaders shared the stage of Srinagar’s Eidgah and when lakhs of people throng that Historical piece of land on the call of said Committee. Although the present situation briefs other story the unity which is every single person here in Kashmir demands seems out of the minds of our accidental leaders.
