NPP ELECTION: -------------------- As the NPP swallows the proverbial pride and allows the Afari Gyan led Electoral Commission to supervise their Partys election of a Flagbearer; many recount the needless waste of 9months of our time in Court by the same people which ended exactly a year ago. The Law of Kama has it that the NPP members are sending the party to court over aspects of the impending election while others lie in wait to challenge tthe outcome. The violent opposition fearing one another have sought police protection from each other, imploring the IGP to guarantee their safety. It is recalled how the CEO of the NPP escaped from the party headquarters in his car boot barely a week ago. The Contestants: ----------------------- FRONT RUNNERS: HE John Alan Kojo Kyeremanteng ------------------------ *affectionately called Alan Cash is a Former Ambassador to USA and Former Minister of Trade. Alan graciously allowed the aging Akufo Addo the opportunity to become Flagbearer and saved the Tired NPP delegates from a Run-off. The NPPs new tradition, the Kufour tradition will become pronounced with an Alan victory and return the predominantly Akan party to its true Ashanti owners. Alan has failed at most assignments, the Presidential Special Initiatives (Cassava, Palm Oil....) Under his watch disappeared. Mr. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo -------------------- * the Twice Defeated Flagbearer, Former Foreign Minister, Former Attorney General and owner of Danquah Institute/Stateman Newspaper. The All-Die-be-die plague that has afflicted the NPP and the partys Ashanti Akyem rift is expected to be deepened by an election of this violence-lover. Age and poor health are his weakest attributes, whiles being disorganised, tribalistic and arrogant are second nature to this flamboyant, eloquent politician. Under his watch, diplomatic passports disappeared and were found with DRUG BARON friends and family members of Nana Addo. Many Judgement Debts were incured through his legal advice as Attorney General. This old womaniser is widely tipped to win the Fflagbeareship of the NPP to take the Party to its Akyem claimants. THE UNDERDOGS ------------------------ Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng: -------------------------------- Leads the pack of underdogs. He was as arrogant as they come; prescribing Kokonte and Gari to Ghanaians... Asabeeee as Information Minister supervised the disbursement of EUROBOND to NPP Serial callers and activists (including Anthony Karbo, Asamoah Gyemfi, John Boadu, Sammy Awuku, Ohene Ntow and their journalist cronies) under goups like RAPID RESPONDERS, FIRST RESPONDERS, PRIM, BLOW etc. Tipped to pull a surprise and strenthen the emerging NPP FANTI CAUCUS. Hon. Joe Gartey: ---------------------- He is another Judgement Debt Specialist during his tenure as Attorney General and is now 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Hon. Konadu Apraku: ---------------------------- Noted for no impressive achievements except for his slangs in heavy akan slant. The other underdogs are not worthy of special mention. No matter the outcome of Todays NPP Special vote to select the wheat from the chaff, NPP will be a deeply divided party and the fighting will only escalate as the LEGAL BATTLES continue and the embattled Chairman and General Secretary remain bent on dealing with the coup leaders and THIEVES in their ranks.
