NPP FRONTLINERS PRESS RELEASE RE: THE CHRONIC ARROGANCE OF NANA AKUFO-ADDO MUST STOP NOW! We the FRONTLINERS, a youth organisation under the umbrella of NPP which have membership across the length and breadth of this country totally condemn the press release of an NDC group parading themselves as ORGANIZED YOUTH OF ASHANTI (OYA) and signed by one BROGYA GYAMFI on Wednesday 12/03/14, attacking the 2008 and 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, NANA ADDO DANQUAH AKUFO-ADDO as being arrogant. We find their release as frivolous which aims to paint NANA AKUFO-ADDO black by their propaganda machinery. To say NANA AKUFO-ADDO is parading as Asantihene is unfortunate. If he Brogya Gyamfi did not know, he ought to have found out whether or not NANA AKUFO-ADDO as costume demands paid a courtesy call on Otunfour to announce his presence in His land. NANA AKUFO-ADDO is a royal who accords the necessary respect to the Golden Stool and the Ashanti Kingdom. Again NANA AKUFO-ADDO was not riding in any state embodying vehicle or under the escort of any state owned security which makes him ride as a president of a republic in our dear country and there is no law in our land which states that riding in an open top convoy on streets is only to be done by the president or a King. For OYA to state that NANA AKUFO-ADDO is disturbing the people of Ashanti Region and for that matter they do not understand is also uncalled for because the majority of the people who poured out to cheer NANA AKUFO- ADDO were the youth in Ashanti region so they should come again. OYA captioned their release as “THE CHRONIC ARROGANCE OF NANA AKUFO-ADDO MUST STOP NOW” where lies the arrogance? NANA AKUFO-ADDO just acknowledged the presence of his followers by waving at them and OYA calls this arrogance. This group is fuelled by NDC to create enmity between the good people of Ashanti and NANA AKUFO-ADDO. The sight of the masses following NANA AKUFU-ADDO has shaken the NDC and they are just looking for an outlet to counter.
