NRM celebrates Liberation day. The National Resistance Movement (NRM) will today celebrate 29 years in power at Boma Grounds in Soroti Town. Security has been tightened in area as this year’s celebrations kick in. The activities will be presided over by His Excellency President Yoweri Museveni. When he came into power in 1986, Museveni promised that his was “not a mere change of guard but a fundamental change.” Something many have varying opinions about especially with the unemployment levels in the country. NRM party deputy spokesperson Ofwono Opondo last week said “Uganda once regarded as a failed state in the 1970s and 1980s has since regained her glory among nations. Not only is Uganda peaceful and vibrant, she is now a key contributor to troubled countries like Somalia, South Sudan and Central African Republic.” ma fans, friends n family y dont uew allow mi to wish uew ablessed n peaceful liberation day as we kip requesting for bundu on all media houses. big up to one rasta out, out there
