NSA Leak Journalist Says More Revelations on Their Way CNN (06/11/13) Mullen, Jethro; Smith, Matt Glenn Greenwald, a journalist at The Guardian newspaper that leaked the story on widespread National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance programs, says that the paper will be publishing more stories based on the NSA documents it has received. According to Greenwald, the paper is working on stories about what he said were "extremely invasive spying programs" that have yet to be disclosed. He maintains that The Guardian wants to make sure the information it releases will not adversely impact U.S. national security but will still expose the extent of government electronic surveillance. Meanwhile, Edward J. Snowden, a former employee of NSA contractor Booz Allen Hamilton who has said that he provided The Guardian and The Washington Post with secret documents about the surveillance programs, is believed to still be in Hong Kong. The FBI is investigating Snowden, searching his home and interviewing his friends and family members to build a case before making any attempt to extradite him. Legal experts say that Hong Kong is unlikely to shelter Snowden in the long term unless he can prove the charges against him are politically motivated.
