#NSFconfession822 Why only SCHOLARS and TOPNOTCHERS?? Bakit ganun? May napansin lang ako... Bakit yung mga scholars at topnotchers ng departmental lang ang nakikitang matalino sa NCBA? Paano yung mga taong hindi naka-attain ng quota line for scholarship? Hindi naman porket na hindi nila nakuha yung scholarship line doesnt mean they werent considered as achievers, right? Dont they have the right to be recognized as well? Almost all of the colleges and universities not only have SCHOLARS but also DEANS LISTERS - category of students who achieved high grades during their stay in an academic term or year. It is different from an academic scholarship, the deans list award does not come with any financial aid. However, students high on the deans list are often offered extra financial aid, especially if they express a desire to transfer or exhibit more financial need. Theres supposed to be a JUSTICE for this kind of situation.
