NSIG (Norwegian Special Interest Group) Yep, that is the official title of our fun group. And we will finally be getting together again this coming Tuesday (the 28th) at 7PM at the IGS, 628 E Grand Ave, Des Moines, Iowa (Weather permitting). If for any reason I ever cancel a meeting, I will send out an email by 4pm and hopefully that will be enough time to prevent you from making an unnecessary trip in crummy weather. The news of the month is: The old search engine on Digitalarkivet is going to be taken off by 15 March of this year. We are going to HAVE to learn the new search! And we will be concentrating on that at this next meeting. Bill did give us a demo on the new search several months ago and I think I forgot everything that he taught us. (Aaaah Bill, would you please brush up on this to help me out - I still struggle with it. Or anyone else who is really comfortable with using the new version, all help will be appreciated.) Until we get the new one down pat, searching will be just a little more difficult. So bring your thinking caps, extra cup of coffee to stay alert, and well just dive right into this topic.
