NSU Undergraduate Admission Test – Fall 2014 Date of Admission Test SATURDAY, 19 July 2014 at 10:00AM Last day of Submission of Application Form 03:00PM of WEDNESDAY, 16 July 2014 Admission Requirements: 1. Minimum GPA of 3.5 in SSC and HSC exams each. 2. Minimum Average Grade Point of 2.5 in five subjects in O-level and 2.0 in two subjects in A-level; in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1. (one “E’’ in either O or A levels, is acceptable). 3. Candidate will be selected on the basis of past academic results and admission test performance. HSC/A-levels (appeared) candidates may sit for the admission test on the basis of an undertaking that they will not be admitted unless they pass the HSC/A-level examinations with minimum GPA requirement. Application forms are available for Tk.1000 from The South East Bank Ltd, Bashundhara Branch, Dhaka. One can also download application form from NSU website: northsouth.edu. Payment of Tk.1000 must be made in the above bank and attach the payment receipt with the application form during submission. Form Submission Procedures: Applicants are requested to show original and attach the following documents at the time of submission of the Application Form: (a) Original HSC Registration Card with one photocopy or Statement of entry (recent) or Copy of Passport (for O & A level students) (b) Four copies of passport size photographs of applicants (mandatory), three are glued and stapled in the form. (c) Photographs of both parents/guardian. (d) Clean photocopies of the following: (i) SSC/O’level marksheet (mandatory) (ii) SSC/O’Level certificate (mandatory) (iii) HSC/ALevel marksheet (mandatory) (iv) HSC/A’Level certificate (If available) (v) Applicant’s national ID card (if available)** (vi) Parents National ID cards (mandatory) ** National ID card of applicant must be submitted within one year from admission if it is not available during submission of application.
