NTRODUCTION TO FELTING A four hour workshop, exploring the basics of the wet felting process. Participants will make several pieces of flat felt, learning laying out, wetting and rolling, making samples which will illustrate some of the uses of this versatile fabric while also demonstrating the shrinking rate. We will also look at 3D processes - making cords, beads, and a small article using resist. Anna is a member of the Victorian Feltmakers Inc. and has been making felt for over 10 years. She has taught at schools and community learning centres, has won several awards at the Bendigo Sheep and Wool Show and participated in a number of joint exhibitions.
