NTSB (at 12pm news conference in Red Bluff): -No evidence so far of pre-crash fire in FedEx truck before crash with tour bus in Orland. Will interview nearby witness who claims to have seen FedEx driver acting to correct the vehicle. -FedEx driver was on round trip between Sacramento and Weed -First trailer was partially loaded, second trailer empty -Door in center of bus was for handicapped passengers, therefore it was locked and not equipped as an emergency exit -All windows except for one by the lavatory were equipped as emergency exits -Altima (third vehicle involved) driver shot video after crash. Working to obtain that and CHP dash cam video -Two relevant items from NTSBs most wanted safety list at play in this crash: Occupant protection/crashworthiness of bus, and fire safety.
