NTV Uganda has today bought rival television station NBS TV in a deal worth a whopping shs2 billion, kigalihits reliably reveals. The sensational deal was signed, stamped and sealed today morning. And our sources can reveal that the agreement of sale was signed by NTV Managing Director Agnes Konde and one Linius Gitai on behalf of NTV, and Kin Kariisa for NBS TV. An announcement regarding the matter is expected in the very near future. Recently we revealed that NTV was set to launch a new vernacular channel- QTV- to directly rival Bukedde TV. It is thought NBS TV will play that role for NTV.
