NUDITY VS DECENCY There is so much going on in our world today. Nakedness is what is being used to attract people to buy products. It is not for nothing that the world is promoting indecency especially among women. It is a subtle way of making indecency look admirable and fashionable in the sight of men. Those who watch these world figures begin to dress like them too.( The power of sight, you practice what you watch) .Majority of those who fall victim are the youth who fancy everything and to want to try everything they see on market. Nudity is a mark of the devil! All the world celebrities and the musicians expose themselves to a certain degree in their public presentations and shows. My question what is new about the human body that people trying to show? Who doesnt know how the female body looks like? Christians, we need to wake up and open our eyes! Body exposure of any form is not meant for you! It is a trap dont fall for it. If the world upholds these type of dressing it is a clear indication that God hates it! Jesus said he is the same yesterday today and forever. In the same way none of His word wont change to suit anybody or the times. in which we are. No matter how the world changes, in fashion or in lifestyle, Christians should remain the same in conduct and in dressing, we should be careful not to follow that pattern, we have to be consistent and unchangeable as the Lord Himself. How does it fit into our thoughts that showing half of your breast, short skirts to expose your thighs, tight dresses to show your feminine contours are fashionable !! Whom do we want to show these things to? whom are trying to impress? And for what reason? If you are married woman, only your husband has to see your nudity, if you are single and you expose yourself, you attract the wrong men. They come to you not because of love but because of what they have seen. Such men cannot be trusted in marriage People who are connected to kings are known as royals and nobles. they are marked for one thing they exhibit decency both in character and in appearance. If ungodly earthly men are practising these how much more is expected of heavenly royals, sons and daughters of the great King? Christians belong to the greatest and most powerful Kingdom ever. You reduce yourself from your real identity, if you follow the ways of the world. If you are born of the Kingdom of light then behave like it and dress like it. Live like a princess who belong to an eternal Kingdom that supersedes any earthly kingdom. Many men and the youth today wear trousers half way showing their underpants. Some braid their hairs with earrings tattoos on their bodies. Dont think these are cool practice. Refrain from this type of lifestyle if you bear the name of Christ. Any thing you do to draw attention, is not born of God. Live according to who you are in Christ. (James 4:4 ) Dont you know that friendship with the world is an enmity to God
