NUMBER 8: WRESTLEMANIA 6 - HULK HOGAN VS THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR (WWE & INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP) This match was by no means a clinic of wrestling, however, to me wrestling is far more than how well you can pull off a rear-naked choke hold. The energy in this match between these two legends was electrifying, the crowd was red hot, the performances of both men was intense and brilliant, and the booking was perfect. This was the first time two faces had faced off against one and other at Wrestlemania (pathing the way for Rock/Austin) and the first time the WWE and Intercontinental Championships were decided in the same match. The build was that both men could withandle insummountable pain and that Hulk Hofan was Immortal and The Warrior was Unbeatable, so something had to give and this excited the fans. The Ultimate Warrior would win this match, and the aftermath was a great touch, with Hogan raising Warriors hand before leaving the ring so the new Champion could bask in his glory. The torch had been passed. (Lets try to forget what Warrior did with said Torch). Unbelievable match which saved a pretty forgettable Wrestlemania.
