NVIDIA CUDA ® Coding Challenge CUDA ® is NVIDIAs parallel computing platform and programming model that enables a dramatic increase in computing performance by harnessing the power of the GPU. NVIDIA, through its inaugural CUDA ® Coding Challenge, is on the prowl for burgeoning programmers who can tackle futures most difficult computing challenges. The Challenge is formulated with the aim of preparing scores of new developers who can test and hone their CUDA ® programming skills. All academics individual or a team of maximum 2 people are eligible to participate - All that needs to be done is: • Eligible Coders must register for the contest. Registration may occur at any time between July 7, 2014 to August 31, 2014 • Preliminary algorithms will be provided by NVIDIA ,which will be accessible to all competitors who have registered for the Competition on August 1, 2014 • The participants now have to implement and optimize the given code on CUDA ® C/C++ and submit the same by October 15, 2014 • Each submission will then be evaluated between October 15, 2014 to November 14, 2014 by a panel of experts, on basis of certain pre-decided criterion • The winning entries will be announced on November 15, 2014 • Final Presentation and Winner announcements will conclude on the NVIDIA Day @ HIPC 2014 - 18th Dec 2014 The top 3 entries are entitled to win an attractive prize money offer- First Prize: INR 50,000/-, Second Prize: INR 30,000/- and Third Prize: INR 20,000/- In case of any doubts and/or queries, please write to nvidia@cudachallengeindia For more information and registrations: cudachallengeindia/index.php
