NW WINDS CLEARING, COLD CHANGE KNOCKING ON THE BACK DOOR! Good evening all! Well NW winds became gusty today, 100km/h was nudged in ChCh, but thankfully have eased as a cold southerly wind makes its way north. Tomorrow expect, cold winds, rain, and low level snow, read on for all the details. Tomorrow: Winds will change SW early tomorrow morning, bringing a period of rain and showers from 9am. Snow will fall to 400m, so possibly affecting the top of Port Hills. We expect rain to ease to showers during the afternoon, before showers clear just after dark tomorrow evening. Highs of 8deg are likely with cold southerly winds. Monday: Expect early morning frosts as the cold air lingers. The day will warm up to 11deg as a fresh NE wind develops during the afternoon, a very settled day overall/ Tuesday: Another fine day is on the cards. Winds will be from the NE initially before high cloud develops in the afternoon as winds turn NW in the evening. Expect highs of 15deg.
