NY Dirt Devil Tryouts – 2013/2014 Season Looking for softball players that have a desire to succeed on the field and to gain the necessary exposure to prepare yourself for the next level of softball up to and including college recruitment. We are an established, premier travel team looking for serious athletes to join our 10U/12U/14U/16U and 18U travel program. We seek players dedicated to softball and academic success. We participate in College Showcases, National Invitational Tournaments, ASA, USSSA and Triple Crown qualifiers. Our program puts the players first and we work to have players experience softball in the same manner as if they were playing for a college program. We strive for a family environment where each player is treated as an integral part of the team and organization as a whole. We run several programs to keep costs manageable for parents as a Not-for-Profit organization. All players are registered and insured with Medical and Dental coverage. We strive to have head/assistant coaches that are CURRENT AND FORMER college softball players, high school and college coaches, to aid in our players development (not the traditional parents coaching their own children). Our program will cover Fall College Showcase tournaments, a complete winter workout/conditioning program at the state of the art home of the NY Dirt Devils - Artistic Stitch Sports Complex located in Glendale, NY starting January 2014. We then will move into our Spring/Summer tournament schedule containing high level college showcases and nationals qualifier tournaments. We also provide guidance/assistance in preparation for all phases of college recruitment. Tryouts for the Fall 2013 and Spring/Summer 2014 teams will be held on Tuesday July 30th and Thursday August 1st from 6pm-8pm at the HVQVB/Padavan-Preller Fields located at 236-02 Hillside Avenue in Bellerose, NY.
