TONIGHTs SOUL CLAP & DANCE-OFF at Brooklyn Bowl is kinda special because... 1) its the release party for my first two lp comps Norton Records SOUVENIRS OF THE SOUL CLAP vol 1 and 2 (available tonight only for the special price of 2 for $20) 2) Charles Bradley is our contest dj 3) our judges include --- Amber Smith of Sony Music --- Chris Spooner of How Was Your Week with Julie Klausner --- Christiana Bartolini of Daptone Records --- Jorge Chavez from Bridesmaids (the band!) --- Katie Lynch and Micah Saccomanno of Rise Above Floatation --- Wayne Gordon of Our Wicked Lady (if his recording sessions done in time!) also, this is the first december clap with our amazing SHADOW DANCERS - Danise Prescott. Erin Sheehy, and Sarah King! also as per usual, Steve Myers will be the referee for the contest portion of the evening - with 1st prize: $100 CASH, 2nd prize $75 SHOPPING SPREE at Metropolis Vintage, and 3rd prize SOUVENIRS OF THE SOUL CLAP vol 1 and 2
