NYSC DEPLOYMENT AND REDEPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS, CONCESSIONAL POSTING. REQUIREMENTS FOR CALL UP LETTER COLLECTION. In our previous post we establish 55 things you dont leave for NYSC CAMP without, we also informed us on where and how to collect your call up letter. We also went further to explain what to do after collecting your call up. Mean while to fulfill our promise yesterday we will be explaining NYSC deployment and redeployment. Secondly the requirement for call up letter collection: REQUIREMENTS FOR CALL UP LETTER COLLECTION Every CPI (corps producing) institution has a unit that foresees NYSC. For instance University of Nigeria Nsukka and some other institution of the likes Utilizes the Career unit for this purpose. Upon reception of call up letter by the CPI they process it to ensure that the certificate or statement of result of the student is available, after which they register the names of mobilized corpers for that batch. Officially a list might be pasted containing the names of students and there place of placement. Because of the numerous number of students is unwise to attend to every student there so they transfer it to their individual faculty, where the officer in charge will disseminate it to students. For collection, it is required you come with a clear means of identification and to fulfill all righteousness some basic clearance receipts faculty due inclusive. Remember you must sign to indicate collection. Dont forget to invite your friends to also benefit from this vital information NYSC DEPLOYMENT National Directorate of NYSC reserves the right to deploy prospective corps members as it deems fit. Graduates are deployed from one part of the country to another this is in a bid to foster unity. Our previous post has the list of states you can be deployed and their camps, and we also explained the stream 1 and Stream 2 together with reasons for the development. With regards to deployment you may be deployed to states or geo-political zones other than your own.Esteemed However, wherever you may be deployed to, be prayerful to God and seek for His guidance and assistance throughout the service year. Please note that in camps some military personnel will promise you a good place for your PPA; but in truth that is not always the case. There are only few people that can influence that for you. As we go ahead , we will be explaining them for you when the time comes. Thats a token for being a member of this unique forum. On a sincere mode, Graduates please make up your minds for NYSC Directorate is not ready to redeploy you except on some grounds. Many have spent thousands wrongly but that wont be the portion of any of our members. REDEPLOYMENT and CONCESSIONAL POSTING NYSC may only grant your request for concessional deployment if it is on marital grounds (for only married women) or on health reasons for those with serious and chronic health problems. Relevant documents to that effect should be forwarded to the NYSC Directorate through your institution of graduation for verification of genuineness of such claims or otherwise. Please note that NYSC is away of troubled states and is working on that. WHAT IF MY CONCESSIONAL POSTING IS NOT TREATED After receiving your NYSC call-up letter and your request for concessional deployment is erroneously not effected, don’t be demoralized. Be encouraged, thats why we are here. You can still attempt for the second time. All that you need to do is to bring along to NYSC orientation camp of the state you are deployed to the necessary and relevant documents you have forwarded previously. If your request for concessional deployment is on marital ground, the following may be requested of you: I. Marriage Certificate; ii. Proof of change of name in one popular daily newspaper; iii. An application letter from the husband’s place of work requesting for your relocation to that environment; iv. Relocation letter from the husband; v. Any other relevant documents; If you request for concessional deployment is on health problems, the following may be required: 1. A duly signed medical report by the Chief Medical Officer of a University Teaching Hospital, Federal Medical Centre, General Hospital, Medical Centre of relevant tertiary institutions, Military Hospital or any other authorized hospital; 2. Relocation letter from the corps member, his parent or guardian; 3. Any other relevant documents. Please kindly like the page, for accurate information.
