NZQA Updates to 2014 Assessment Specifications – March 2014 The following assessment specifications have been updated in March 2014, mostly as a result of finalisation of the standards review process. These have (Updated March 2014) beside the year on the front page of the document. Teachers should not need to alter their teaching programmes as a result of these updates. NCEA Agricultural and Horticultural Science Level 3 (91530, 91532) Classical Studies Level 1 (91021, 91022, 91023), Level 2 (91200, 91201, 91202), Level 3 (91394, 91395, 91396) Cook Islands Māori Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 (all standards) Dance Level 1 (90861, 90005), Level 2 (91211, 91212), Level 3 (91594, 91595), Drama Level 1 (90998, 90011), Level 2 (91215, 91219), Level 3 (91514, 91518) Health Level 1 (90972, 90975), Level 2 (91235), Level 3 (91462, 91465) History Level 2 (91233, 91234), Korean Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 (all standards) Lea Faka-Tonga Level 1, Level 2 (all standards) Mathematics Level 1, all standards, Level 2 (91262), Level 3 (91584) Music Level 1 (91093), Level 2 (91275, 91276, 91277 Te Reo Māori Level 2 (91286, 91287) Te Reo Rangitira Level 1 (all standards) Technology Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Scholarship Visual Arts Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 (all standards) New Zealand Scholarship Accounting Calculus Drama Languages (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Samoan, Spanish) Music Technology Visual Arts Technology Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and New Zealand Scholarship assessment specifications have been updated with the addition of “A3 sheets will have to be folded to fit into the folder”. New Zealand Scholarship languages (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Samoan, Spanish) assessment specifications have been updated with “or Te Reo Māori” added to Question Two. Other assessment specifications have been updated because of new versions of achievement standards. These specifications have not changed except for the version number of the standard. A list of these updated achievement standards for use in 2014 can be found on the NZQA website.
