FDI always leads to short term prosperity. Thats why when MMS went on FDI spree in 1990s, the prosperity had increased. And since then FDI-led growth indeed increases prosperity. But FDI-led growth does NOT increase skills. eg we do NOT manufacture even Rs 1000 simple call only dumb phone, while China manufactures MI3, . The betterment which happened in these 100 days too is due to more FDI only Due to FDI, dollar prices fell, and so petrol prices fell. There is no long story here. And now Japan is promising FDI of some $35 billion.. Those who think that Japanese MNC-owners are less bad than US-MNC-owners are mistaken. Please read on Nanjing war. . Also, it is fallacy that US MNC-owners will help Missionaries while Japanese MNC-owners will NOT help Missionaries.. The Missionaries will manage to get deep inroads via Japanese elietemen who are influenced by Missionaries. . One interesting change in Indian Politics of past 5 years is BST-workers. BST-workers were all anti-FDI in 2009 when BST started. Now almost all BST-workers are busy supporting FDI in defence, FDI in railways and FDI in everything, and they insist on supressing information on repatriation crisis FDI can cause !! . Solution I propose is ---- we should reduce FDI by law-drafts such as WOIC, and by reducing internal inefficiencies using law-drafts such as DDMRCAM, JurySys, Wealth tax etc .
