Nabeel Gabol Lashes Sindh government and Lyari Gang War Karachi (June 9, 2013): Haq Parast member National Assembly Nabeel Gabol has strongly condemned the killing of innocent people as a result of warfare among different groups of Lyari gang war. He said that nobody seems to be stopping the terrorism of Lyari gang war and the irony is that the Sindh government is continuing to support these criminal elements. Mr. Gabol said in his statement said that for last many years, Lyari has become hostage to the criminals of gang war and a lot of people belonging to different communities have been force to leave the area because of worsening law and order situation and terrorism and that Liyari is in control of professional criminals. Mr. Gabol said that all political, social and economic activities were at complete halt and that criminals of gang war have forced people to starve. He said that the criminal activities of gang war are affecting the lives of people and it is a pure humanitarian issue and human rights organizations should also confront and condemn the criminals of gang war. He said that even today Lyari is a battle field for different gangs’ warfare who attack each other with hand-grenades and despite this dangerous situation the role of government of Sindh and law enforcement agencies was deplorable. He also extended sympathies to families of the people who have been killed and also prayed for the quick recovery for the injurers. Mr. Gabol called on Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take serious notice of the situation and get an end of Lyari gang war. He said that they should also provide security and protection to industrialists, businessmen, shop owners and people belonging to all facets of life from the terrorism of notorious Lyari gang war and bring stoppage to the supervision of government of Sindh to the criminals.
