Nadeem Nadu: Sachnews Jammu Kashmir : Srinagar, Feb 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was Monday arrested along with 14 other Front activists at Awantipora in south Kashmir, a Front spokesman said here. He said Malik was on his way to Islamabad (Anantnag) where he was scheduled to lead a protest rally against the “immunity given to armed forces and officers” who killed five innocent Kashmiris in cold-blood at Pathribal in 2000. Others who were arrested include Adv Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Mushtaq Ajmal, Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Sideeq Shah, Bashir Kashmiri, Ghulam Rasool Hazari, Mohammed Amin, Mohammad Ibrahim, Shahid Makaya, and driver of the vehicle Aashiq Ahmad. They have been lodged at Awantipora police station.
