Nadong bhutia My first interview ..striker Nadong Bhutia played his part in Mumbai City FC’s thumping win over FC Pune City at the DY Patil Stadium on Saturday night. Indiansuperleague caught up with the 20-year-old player who sports a spiky hairdo after the match for a quick interview. Here are some excerpts: What are your first thoughts about this game? Its a great result for all of us. We are starting a new journey from today. So we are hoping to improve in the next match. What was the difference between today’s game and the one in Kolkata? There are many differences. There, it was the artificial turf, so we couldnt play good football. Today was our home match and the ground has natural grass, so we could give our hundred percent. What do you have to say about the goals scored by Andre Moritz and Subhash Singh? They were great goals. Moritz is a brilliant player, Subhash is a top scorer too! We are hoping they will continue their form in the matches ahead and do a great job. We all want to give off our best. Nadong Bhutia You had a superb header which was saved by the Pune City goalkeeper (Emanuele Belardi). Did you think the ball was going in? Yes, I thought that was a goal but the keeper made a superb save. You were played on the flanks. What does the coach see in you? It’s very difficult to play as a wing half. You need to spend a lot of energy and you need to keep working hard. But the coach is positive and we all want to give off our best. Once again, congratulations on the splendid win!
