Nagaland border villagers ready to face any possible event Against the backdrop of the prevailing tension in Dimapur (Nagaland)-Karbi Anglong (Assam) border areas, villagers in the area have decided to stand united and prepared to face any eventuality. According to a release today the decision was taken at a joint meeting of members from Sensolikum Village, Longjang group, Jenjong group, Tongti group Putusen Yim and INA Co at Sensolikum village public ground, Dimapur yesterday. Members who attended the meeting further cautioned United Naga Tribes Association (UNTA) Chubatangit Jamir and secretary Hukavi Yepthomi to refrain from issuing any misguided statement without knowing the facts and reality of the case. Those who attended that meeting asked UNTA to consult Sensolikum members if they wished to know the facts. Further, the meeting participants also said the question of registered and unregistered members did not arise.
