Nahid Sultana : hoping to clean the mess Nahid Sultana is a very brave activist because she dares to dream of a cleaner Bangladesh when most people seems busy doing the opposite. On 31st December she hopes to gather a big crowd and do some cleaning. She has asked all others to join. This is particularly heartfelt when one sees what is happening in the Sunderbans where an oil spill has caused enormous damage and the authorities are trying to clean but not too successfully. Again, its the locals who depend on the forest for everything have joined in the clean up to minimise the already enormous damage. How we wish the government would learn from such committed individuals and groups. Congrats Nahid, may your tribe increase.
