Nail DIY tutorial. By @crazynailgurl Watermarble Tutorial! I know the video makes it look easier but it took me a few tries to get the polish to spread right. Directions: (I didnt include the tutorial for the gradient because the video would be crazy fast and I have a lot of gradient tutorials just look for it.) 1⃣ Paint your nails white. 2⃣ Get a plastic container (I used plastic cup) and fill it with room temperature water. I used water from the tap and let it sit so it would be room temperature. 4⃣ You need to get a least 2 watery relatively new polishes. I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, its amazing for watermarbling, and a LOreal clear coat. 5⃣ Screw off the lids and let a drop of polish slide off the brush and let it spread. If it does not spread either your polish is too old or your water temperature isnt right. I used other polishes and they just didnt spread correctly so I changed the polish. 6⃣ Once you have dropped a good amount of polish and have satisfactory amount of layers use a toothpick and make a design. I chose a designs using a watermarble designs video by @trendypolish on YouTube. 7⃣ Dip your finger (I put tape around my nail so the cleanup process would be easier) into the spot you think looks best. 8⃣ Gently blow on the water for about 10 seconds so the polish dries and use a q-tip and twirl it around in the water to wet rid of the polish. If you dont when you remove it the extra polish could get on the design and ruin it. 9⃣ Remove the tape and once the polish has dried seal it all in with a topcoat. Dont get discouraged if it doesnt work out on the first try. Practice the technique and you will get better at it. One of the reasons it doesnt work is because of bad polish. I edit my videos with the video editing apps Lumify and Perfect Video. The music is one of the four choices from Lumify. I film with my iPhone on a raised platform.
