Nairobi, 19th April 2014 Hello friends! The National Executive Committee of the NYBA(EXCOM), has been meeting here in Nairobi for the last two days to plan for the next National leaders meeting and to deliberate on other important issues. May I take this opportunity to inform you all that we have postponed the National meeting up to May 8th 2014 to allow ourselves time to sort out issues of program activities implementation across the Country, but particularly Western and Nyanza Regions where we have had no activities for more than four months due to unreasonable circumstances. We expect that our Donor will work this mess out with our regional partners so as to ensure smooth running of youth empowerment activities across the Country. Failure to do so, we may humbly seek total closure of the program so that donor funds are not used in operations that do not benefit the targeted beneficiaries of this program. As your leaders, we remain committed to serving you, and most importantly to speak on your behalf when need be. I humbly request that we be patient as we allow our partners to work this out.
