Malays are very angry with Najib for pandering to the Chinese and see it as humiliation that the Chinese rejected Najibs reaching out to Chinese they think Chinese have played Najib and UMNO. that is why you wont see the 1Malaysia slogan much nowadays coz it got killed by DAP. he also significantly increased funding to Chinese schools and even allowed a Chinese Uni (Xiamen) to be built here. Najib is actually very pro-Chinese which PM have you ever seen lift bumi-requirements for govt procurement? or wear chinese clothes and acting in a Chinese New Year advertistment and try to speak Chinese?
