Nalley customers, I normally do not speak of politics, religion or any other topics that might would possibly upset any of our customers; but this has been on my heart for quite sometimes and if it helps just one person cleanse their heart, it was all worth it. If this offends anyone, you might want to look in the mirror... Racism comes from the heart of each individual… Hello, I am Britt Gilmore; I was born in Alabama in 1955; I was named after George C. Wallace, my full name is Wallace Britt Gilmore. I tell you that to say this; regardless of our background or upbringing; you are what you make yourself to be. I have seen racism all my life from both blacks and whites. Racism will always be here because we are always going to have people that have hatred in their hearts. Racism is bad from whoever; both black and white. What some people do to stir things up using race; is just as racist as the biggest racist redneck in the world calling someone a bad word. The racist redneck is a racist in his heart; that is his raising or lack of it. When people use racism just to stir things up and make situations worse, well let me just say; none of them are good. God sees all of us as his creation; do you think God would approve of what any of these people do…? I don’t. What each person must do to erase the ill racist feelings towards another human being is to realize that we are all God’s children; his opinion is the only one that matters. It all starts with each individual, both black and white; because in the end, what is in each of our heart is what matters. We can all help the problem of racism by first making sure each of our hearts is pure and we are not influenced by those that aren’t. Be your own person, use your own brain, and cleanse your heart of hatred and racism. Britt Gilmore
