Namaste Everyone, We recently heard that one of our most prominent founding member and our advisor in our Gurung Tamu Society, Mr Ashok Gurungs family is moving permanently to Bangkok. They will be leaving by Dec 18-19. Ashok gurung will initially split his time between NY and Bangkok but finally will move there as well. And on account of that, we have decided to organize a farewell party for him and his family . He has been a valuable contributor for our Gurung tamu society and always gave advise on the betterment of our Gurung society. A farewell party is organzed for him and his family this coming Sunday December 8 at Malingo Restaurant at 7pm. We also have a Gurung film called Ghalek showing on that day from 3 to 5pm at 82nd st Jackson heights and so members can go to the party after the film. All excecutive members, advisors and all active members are encouraged to attend this farewell party. Each individual is responsible for their own meals and drinks.Please pass this message to other Gurung tamu society members who might be interested in attending. Thank you for your support !
