Namaste! I am the Artistic Director for The Queen’s Head Theatre opening in Winter Park, Florida. I am seeking to establish a rep. company of actors who want to study, grow, and perform as a company, and moreover, celebrate like a family. I re-located to Orlando one year ago with my partner due to his job, and knowing we are here to stay, I quickly began scoping out a space to open this company. I have been involved in professional theatre for over twenty years, both in the academic and production sides. I am a member of Actor’s Equity Association and SDC, the union for Stage Directors, and Choreographers. I am an acting and movement coach. I hold an M.F.A in Theatre Performance and Production, and an Ed.S in Theatre Pedagogy. Before moving here, I have successfully run two rep. companies who did quite well. The last one was invited to perform at the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, and the New Orleans Tennessee William’s Festival. The company will study Acting as a Science, Movement, Pranic Breathing, Yoga, and Actions as well as become grounded in the Stanislavski, Meisner, and Adler techniques. If you have never been part of a rep. company, or a company of actors who formally study together- it truly can be life changing as an artist and personally. I will be holding auditions December 4th and 5th for those interested, and also for our January show, Baptized to the Bone. Auditions will consist of two contrasting monologues and cold reading.
