Namaste and Happy New Year 2015 and Nepalese New Year of the Sheep - TopicsExpress

Namaste and Happy New Year 2015 and Nepalese New Year of the Sheep too, High Everyone, I just wanted to tell you all, an Royal Australian Artillery veteran by the name of Norman Ferguson (Darky) Park., has sent me and David a lovely Christmas present, that came in the post this morning. David had been after a RAA Shoulder Flash for his NEW Royal Regiment of Artillery 300th Anniversary 1716-2016 Jacket, he had obtain British, Canadian and New Zealand RA shoulder Flashes, but could not get an Royal Australian Artillery Shoulder Flash for love nor money. This kind Australian Gunner when he heard I was looking for one for David, said he would send me one of his, but what he did not say was what else he would send us. When I open this large envelope, was I in for a Shock, the following was what I got. One full size Australian National Flag, plus booklet how to fly it, we hope our Australian cousins will not mind if we add a small the Royal Artillery Red & Blue Shoulder TFR with RA Cap Badge in the middle too, that is in one corner of their National Flag too. Which we will do each year from Now On, that is on ANZAC Day, also on Parade at our local Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade alongside the Flag of Nepal. Also if any Australian Service Personnel are Killed-in-the-Line-of-Duty, we will fly their National flag at half master too, along with if an Australian is killed again serving with British Forces and is returned to Brize Norton for Repatriation, we will take the flag and lower it with RBL standards too. As we have already sent more than a few Poppy Wreath’s, along with Legion Poppy Lapel Pins and cards of sympathy, to families in Australia, New Zealand, Nepal, South Africa, Fiji, for Commonwealth and Allied Servicemen killed serving with HM Forces in Afghanistan, let alone been to Wootton Bassett and Brize for their Repatriation too. We have always felt their Nation Flags should be on display at half Master alongside the Union Jacket Flag, as out of joint Respects and Honours, we now have at least an Australian Flag to show this respect and honour’s now. This kind Australian Gunner Brother from down under, also sent the following, a pair of Australian Hat shaped earrings Gold, which I just love. A Malaya – Borneo (i.e. which I will place on my Gurkha hat, to honour ANZAC Personnel and Gurkha’s who served there too). Australian White Support Our Troops Lapel Pin Badge, I will wear of my Legion / Gurkha Blazer always. Lastly a Australian 6Oth Anniversary V for Victory of World War Two lapel Pin Badge, David will wear on his Royal Artillery Blazer from now on, to remember and honour his ANZAC family member’s too, but also a very love little cannon and laurel Lapel Pin Badge, which will also go onto David’s RA Veteran’s Blazer I only bought him earlier this year too. We are both so shock and very grateful to Norm (Darky) Park, we don’t know how to say thank you, what we were going to send back in return, now feel NOT ENOUGH in way of thank you Norm, but you have One British Gunner’s every lasting gratitude, Ubique (Everywhere), Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt (Where Right And Glory Lead), in English for Non-Gunner’s. Stephen could you do me a special favour please, do one of your great design’s of art work, to say thank to All Australian Gunner’s, as well as Canadian and New Zealand Gunner’s plus British Gunner’s too. By using the our joint RA Cap Badge and the Global, plus the flags of Australian, Canada, New Zealand and United Kingdom, plus their joint RA motto; Ubique (Everywhere), Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt (Where Right And Glory Lead), plus the following wording too. “ONCE A GUNNER, ALWAYS A GUNNER” “ WE LOOK AFTER OUR OWN & EVERYONE ELSE, ON THE BATTLEFIELD ALWAYS TOO”. So I can send it to normal as an embroidered Badge I can do on my sewing machine, from a J-peg art work. Plus I wish I could kiss you, to say thank you too. Namaste, from GurkhaMum Wendy & GurkhaDad david plus JKALI too, woof, woof! PS: the dog would lick you all over too.
