Namaste my Sangha! Thanks to all of you who have hit the Like button, it is good to have you here with all of us. I enjoy sharing with all of you and feel free to share anything you may want to, also. Expressing ourselves to those who understand is such a wonderful experience. When I come here to my page, well our page, I always know there are good things left for me to see. This page is designed for just that...... Good things, I know life can be tough, I know all too well, sometimes when we just vent and then let it go, we feel better. It is also nice to know that we arent alone in how we are feeling. Good company is a good thing. We can come here to smile, to laugh, tell a joke or two, (a big thanks to Graham on that, and to the others who have left me very useful info, I appreciate it!) I have something uplifting I will share with you. It is from my book that read often, it is called The Buddha Gate, I love this book! Anyway, I shall share........ Stories from Chung Tai Attending Daily Services........ A Monk who had low blood pressure, couldnt attend the morning and evening services with all the other Monks. Worried, he asked the Master, Master, I am too sick to attend morning and evening services. What should I do? The Master replied, It is okay not to attend the services the Disciple said, But it is a Monks basic duty to attend the services. The Master said, Being Truthful in What You Do Is Attending Services, Being Mindful Without Drifting Is Attending Services. I love this, because this is very true!
