Namaste, translated into English, takes about 30 words. This is probably because Namaste is just a pointer to a physical/spiritual connection that occurs between people, or people and other animals, without a single word needing to be uttered. It is in a friendly gaze that lasts slightly longer than usual. In a nod of the head with a smile that says, I see that in you that you see in me. It is so simple - thats why it takes so long to explain in English words. :-)
