Name: Trooper Breed: Lab Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 53 lbs. Currently Living at: Foster Home Meet Trooper, a sweet-as-can-be, gentle lab mix; we think he is about 1-2 years old and weighs about 53 lbs. Poor Trooper ended up in the shelter with another buddy, and they were both emaciated and in pretty bad shape after being on their own for a while! His buddy made it out but sadly, Trooper was running out of time. Theres Hope couldnt let anything else happen to this poor guy so we were able to snatch him up. Anyone who knows lab mixes knows that they are the nicest, goofiest, most lovable and amusing sweethearts of the dog world! Sadly, lab mixes are so often overlooked--but those who look right past them are missing out. Trooper promises that if you show him that life can be happy and fun instead of hard and full of suffering, he will repay you with years of unconditional love, fun and companionship. Hes just hoping that someone will give him a chance! Trooper loves to explore his world and take in all the wonderful smells, and to be around people so he can get as many pets as possible! He does well around other dogs, cats, and children. Trooper is waiting hopefully and eagerly looking for a person or family to adopt him and give him the loving home he deserves. We still don’t understand how anyone could have abandoned this sweet boy, but we know he would love to get into a home of his own! Trooper hopes you will consider making him your companion or part of your family. You won’t regret opening your home to this good boy! He will enjoy joining you on hikes or long walks around the neighborhood, and some toys and playtime would be great, too! Fun fact.... Trooper loves to dance and has some pretty great moves! At the end of the day, Trooper would just LOVE to cuddle up next to you and get some ear scratches and belly rubs. Could you be the lucky person to welcome this wonderful dog into your life??
